Historic Garden Week is the largest annual tourism event in Virginia and raises money for restoration of historic gardens throughout the Commonwealth. In 2011, this article was published in the Piedmont Virginian regional magazine focusing on the seven gardens restored with Historic Garden Week proceeds in Piedmont. The article also highlighted upcoming 2011 tours throughout the thirteen county magazine service area. All boats float (all gardens get restored?) when the tide comes in!
